I saw Daniel Merriweather's performance last night at the Blender Theater - I also was sitting right next to him at the bar when he kindly asked for some tea prior to the show's start. Not only is he the most pleasant person to be around, his stage presence is intimidating, his love for his band members is endearing and his live act and beautiful face - is panty dropping! Do a show in NYC, your review will be raw!

All that were missing were his background singers which I got to see perform at Joe's Pub. They just add a fuller sound. Not takng anything away from the awesome performance that night. I was right up front. The band was hot and his vocals spot on. It gives me chills watching Daniel perform. He is so soulful and his stage presence is magnetic. He interacted with the audience which were very receptive. Don't think it was a packed house but once his cd drops and hopefully radio picks it up he will explode in America!!
